Customer Feature of the Month – BMW E46 Compact Drift Car
We’re proud to showcase one of our favourite customer builds — a full-on drift BMW E46 Compact fitted with a forged M54B30 engine and our aggressive race clutch setup.
- First year: Running a stock NA engine, this E46 won a full season of amateur drifting.
- Next two seasons: Jumped up to Drift League GB, finishing 5th in 2023 and an incredible 2nd place in 2024.
The customer’s honest feedback?
“It’s an aggressive clutch setup — definitely not for a road car! But on the track, it’s been flawless. Never had an issue with clutch slip, and thanks to the lightened flywheel, the car revs insanely fast.”
The clutch kicks are brutal — so much so that it's snapped or bent diff bolts — but the clutch itself hasn’t missed a beat after three full seasons of competition.
This setup is still going strong, ready for another year of hardcore drifting!
